Los éxitos de Apple TV+, “Severance” y “The Studio”, lideraron las nominaciones para series de drama y comedia, respectivamente.
Este martes, la Academia de Televisión anunció las nominaciones a la 77.ª edición de los Premios Emmy. Entre los principales destacados se encuentran los éxitos de Apple TV+: Severance, que lidera las categorías de drama, y The Studio, al frente de las nominaciones en comedia.
HBO Max, por su parte, se posicionó como la plataforma con más nominaciones en total, acumulando 142 menciones gracias a títulos como The Penguin —la más nominada en la categoría de serie limitada o antológica—, The White Lotus, The Last of Us y Hacks. Con esta cifra, la cadena supera su propio récord anterior de 140 nominaciones establecido en 2022.
La impresionante cifra de nominaciones consolida nuevamente a HBO Max en la cima del panorama televisivo, una posición que ha ocupado durante gran parte de las últimas décadas. En los últimos años, la competencia por el liderazgo ha estado marcada por su rivalidad con Netflix, que encabezó la lista en 2024. Aunque esta vez quedó por debajo, Netflix aún ostenta el récord histórico de nominaciones en un solo año (160 en 2020) y comparte el récord de mayor número de premios en una misma edición: 44 en 2021, igualando la marca establecida por CBS en 1974.
