Se han anunciado los finalistas de la 36ª edición de los premios USC Libraries Script Awards. Entre las seleccionadas se encuentran “American Fiction”, “Killers of the Flower Moon”, “ Oppenheimer ” y “ Poor Things ”, todas ellas candidatas de primer nivel a la atención del Oscar. El drama de Ava DuVernay “Origin” fue una entrada sorpresa en la programación, convirtiéndola en la segunda mujer negra reconocida por el organismo de premios (la primera fue Dee Rees por “Mudbound” de 2017).
Una de las omisiones más notables es “Barbie” de Greta Gerwig, pero no está claro si la película se presentó para su consideración ya que la WGA la consideró original.
